Open Position in the Heme-Iron Research Laboratory (Prof. Emanuela Tolosano), Department of Molecular Biotechnology and Health Sciences, University of Torino
Project Overview
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our dynamic research team. Our laboratory focuses on investigating the critical role of heme and iron metabolism in regulating nutrient acquisition and utilization under both normal and pathological conditions. Current projects explore these mechanisms in cancer and metabolic disorders.
The specific focus of this project is to understand the interplay between heme synthesis and choline/ethanolamine import and how it influences glucose and lipid metabolism in cancer models. This research offers the potential for significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of cancer.
